We took the plane from Phoenix to Maui and landed in Oahu.And got a smaller jump plane.to get in Maui.We rented a car the hotel was about 20 miles from where the airport was.We got there as we drove through the Islands you would pay big bucks to get scenery like this.Big palm trees georgeous flowers that you may not see in a lot of places.Lush gardens.We got to the hotel I was awe struck.You have valet there,or self parking if you want to.You walk into the hotel it was like being in a giant mall.stores,restaurants,Small places for quikie foods.Coffee drinks.and clothes and jewelry stores.You name it they got it?We went to get checked in our room was on 8th floor.We took the elevator up opened the door it was amazing room.And we had been in some great places, before this.The first place I went to the patio and it seems like you can see everything their.Pool a few of those around the area and the ocean.The gardens are lush and flowers I had not seen before.we could look and see beautiful sunsets from the balcony and even different birds like flamingo's ducks fish,All over the place.After we finished looking out the balcony we checke out the room.Had a king bed you could sink into.And when I looked on the desk their was a beautiful bird of paradise plant & chocolates strawberries and a bottle of Champaigne.My son called the hotel before we got there.it was a beautiful sight.The night we got in we ate in the restaurant in the hotel.was a great Italian restaurant.And in the morning they have breakfast brunch or you can have regular one,We had the package through the hotel where you get breakfast for the time we were there.
